Self-Efficacy
- Self-efficacy is the degree to which you feel confident and capable of performing a certain behaviour in a specific situation
- Self-efficacy is directly linked to your probability of relapse, it is the degree to which you feel confident and capable of:
- Managing high risk situations for using
- Maintaining abstinence
- The more confident you are, the more likely you will succeed in managing high risk situations and your regular daily stresses that can lead to lapse and relapse
